From the beautiful and historic town of Scottsville, Virginia, Willow Branch is a traditional bluegrass band that has specialized in providing entertainment at weddings, private parties, corporate functions, and civic events since 1983.
Band members are: Robert Noble - banjo & vocals; Gayle Noble - bass fiddle & vocals; Greg Lam - fiddle & vocals; Doug McDonald - mandolin & vocals; Bill Bryant - guitar & vocals.
They have performed at the Governor's Mansion in Richmond, VA; the world famous Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN; the Statler Brothers "Happy Birthday USA" 4th of July celebration in Staunton, VA; and to over 30 million viewers via cable and satellite on the QVC television shopping network.
Willow Branch was named "Best Bluegrass Band" in Virginia by the Virginia Folk Music Association in 1990 & 1997, and had the honor of performing for the medal winners of the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team.
Continually striving to bring their friends and fans a clean, family-style show, Willow Branch will please any audience and enhance any venue.
